Diners
ODB accepts all hungry people and only asks, “Are you here for lunch?” In the typical serving day we serve 230 men, women and children representing all races. ODB serves the aged, the homeless, the unemployed, the disabled and the working poor. During the summer ODB serves about 30 children a day. For many of the elderly the human companionship is as important as the food. Diners do not stand in line, but seat themselves in an attractive parish hall where they are served by volunteers and treated with dignity and compassion.
