Volunteers

Coney Island Our 100 volunteers perform the many tasks required to serve our diners. They represent a number of Roman Catholic, Protestant and Episcopal churches as well as various other organizations. A volunteer board of directors, that includes church and community leaders, sets policies. The program has one paid part-time employee, an ODB Program Director who schedules and directs the volunteers.

All the volunteers are happy to be part of the program and to be able to help out in whatever capacity they are able to. Here is an album of some of the volunteers and their smiling faces while they go about their duties.
